UKRAVIT to open biotechnological agroindustrial park in 2018

UKRAVIT Corporation will open biotechnological agroindustrial park in 2018. This was informed by Vitaly Ilchenko, the owner of the UKRAVIT Group of Companies, at the final press conference.

Vitaly Ilchenko said that in 2018 the company is launching a new large ambitious project — the creation of a biotechnological agroindustrial park in Cherkassy.

"This will be a large project, the territory of which will occupy almost 50 hectares. The implementation of this project, I think, will be phased. Now we are negotiating with international financial organizations, because in Ukraine such investments for this new production are now very difficult to find," he commented.

Vitaly Ilchenko mentioned that it will be an advanced processing of agricultural products, and a synthesis of active substances.

"We want to move now from the import of active substances, which we use in our production technology. We want to switch to own production and increase our competitive advantage among other companies that mainly import crop protection products," the owner of UKRAVIT summed up.
