Ukraine in Jan-Oct exported 10 thousand tons of milk

Ukraine in January-October 2017 exported 10.13 thousand tons of milk for the amount of USD 7.07 million.

The State Fiscal Sevice of Ukraine reports that according to the results of October, milk export amounted to 1.82 thousand tons against 1.53 thousand tons in September.

The main importers of Ukrainian milk in January-September are Moldova (USD 2.52 million), Qatar (USD 1.59 million) and Georgia (USD 1.37 million). Export to these countries amounted to 3,61 thousand tons, 2,29 thousand tons and 1,96 thousand tons of milk, respectively.

Earlier it was reported that in 2017, Ukraine expects the reduction of milk production, which according to various estimates will be from 1% to 5% as the result of the decrease in the total number of livestock.
