14 million ha of grain crops harvested in Ukraine — Harvest Online 2017

13.9 million hectares of grain and leguminous crops are harvested in Ukraine. The projected areas amount to 14.6 million hectares. According to the data of the joint project of Latifundist.com and AGCO Harvest Online 2017, 58.8 million tons of grain are threshed with an average productivity of 4.23 tons/ha (2016: 4.52 tons/ha).

Corn harvest amounts to 20.6 million tons, with an average productivity of 5.32 tons/ha (2016: 6.27 tons/ha).

Soybean is harvested on 1.9 million hectares or 96% of the forecast. The harvest makes up 3.7 million tons, with an average productivity of 1.92 tons/ha (2016: 2.26 tons/ha).

The harvest of sunflower results in 11.9 million tons, harvesting is completed on 99% of the area, and the average productivity makes up 2.01 tons/ha (2016: 2.27 tons/ha).

Sugar beet is harvested from the area of 306 thousand hectares or 96% of the forecast. The yield amounts to 14 million tons, with an average productivity of 46 tons/ha (2016: 47.7 tons/ha).

The highest yields of grain and leguminous crops are recorded in the following regions: Khmelnitsky — 6.26 t/ha, Sumy — 5.94 t/ha, Vinnitsa — 5.84 t/ha, Ternopol — 5.63 t/ha, Chernigov — 5.52 t/ha, Chernovtsy — 5.37 t/ha and Ivano-Frankovsk — 5.02 t/ha.
