Grain export from Ukrainian sea ports last week amounted to 595k tons

In the period of 18–24, 595 thousand tons of grain were shipped from Ukrainian ports, which is 24% lower than the week before (780 thousand tons).

Wheat and corn had equal shares in total exports for the reporting week — 46% (276 thousand tons). A week before, 356 thousand tons of wheat and 353 thousand tons of corn were exported. The export of barley decreased by 27 thousand tons to 44 thousand tons, writes APK-Inform.

The largest volume of grains in the reporting week was shipped by NIBULON — 134 thousand tons. Borivage follows with the result of 66 thousand tons.

The major importer of Ukrainian grain in the reporting week was Israel with 103 thousand tons followed by China — 65 thousand tons, and Turkey — 62 thousand tons.

Earlier it was reported that Ukraine in January-October 2017 exported 14.22 million tons of wheat for the amount of USD 2.25 billion.
