Export of Ukrainian milk in November decreased to 2.71k tons

In January-November 2017, Ukraine exported 12.84 thousand tons of milk for the amount of USD 8.89 million.

Whereas in November milk exports amounted to 2.71 thousand tons against 10.13 thousand tons in October, the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine informs.

The main importers of Ukrainian milk in January-September are Moldova (USD 2.77 million), Qatar (USD 2.69 million) and Georgia (USD 1.63 million). Exports to these countries amounted to 4 thousand tons, 3.89 thousand tons and 2.35 thousand tons of milk, respectively.

Earlier it was reported that according to Andrey Yarmak, Economist of the  Technical Cooperation Department at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the conditional yield index of milk production in November increased by 5.2%.
