Garford strengthens cooperation with Ukrainian agro-holdings

The British manufacturer of innovative agricultural machinery Garford Farm Machinery Ltd plans in two years to increase exports by 60% due to active work in the markets of the CIS countries and in Ukraine.

Andrei Omelchenko, Director of Business Development at AgriLink (Garford), commented:

"In the Ukrainian market, Svarog West Group and Ukrprominvest-Agro use Garford machinery. Agri-industrial holding Astarta-Kiev is interested in acquiring British inter-row cultivators for the development of organic farming."

The company develops and implements high-quality machinery for mechanical control of weeds during interrow cultivation of soil for a wide range of row crops (sugar beet, soybean, corn, grains, salads, cabbage, etc.).

Garford Farm Machinery produces about 160 units of machinery per year, 80% of which is sold in Western Europe and North America. In the structure of the company's exports, the CIS market still accounts for 5%. The usage of Garford machinery allows to increase yields by 7-10%.
