Export of potato in January amounted to 1.8k tons

Ukraine in January 2018 exported 1.84 thousand tons of potatoes for the amount of USD 302 thousand.

The State Fiscal Service of Ukraine reports that the main importers of Ukrainian potatoes in January-October 2017 were Moldova (USD 227 thousand) and Georgia (USD 24 thousand). Exports to these countries amounted to 1.69 thousand tons and 0.14 thousand tons, respectively.

Reference: the gross harvest of potatoes in 2017 was projected at 21.9 million tons, which exceeds last year's volume by 0.5%.
