Ukrainian grain export since the beginning of 2017/18 exceeded 25 MT

Ukraine since the beginning of 2017/18, as of February 14, 2018, exported 25.12 million tons of grain, which is 2.61 million tons less than the exported volume over the same period last year.

According to the data of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, wheat exports over the reporting period amounted to 12.58 million tons, which is 501 thousand tons less than for the same period last year.

According to the report, from the beginning of 2017/18 Ukraine exported 3.98 million tons of barley (613 thousand tons less) and 8.45 million tons of corn (1.4 million tons less). The export of rye amounted to 16.7 thousand tons.

Prior it was reported that Ukraine in October-January 2017/18 exported 812.5 thousand tons of corn to China, which is 2.8 times more than the volume of supplies over the same period of the previous marketing year.
