Sunflower stocks in Ukraine amount to 5 MT

As of 1 February, 2018 sunflower stocks amounted to 5.06 million tons, which is 378.2 thousand tons less than the same indicator in 2017 (5.4 million tons).

The statistical data shows that the biggest stocks of sunflower are at the enterprises of Dnepropetrovsk (505.1 thousand tons), Kharkov (457.3 thousand tons) and Odessa (434.7 thousand tons) regions.

It is noted that the lowest stocks of sunflower are at the enterprises of Rivne (25.09 thousand tons), Chernivtsi (23.06 thousand tons) and Volyn (12.9 thousand tons) regions.

Reference: in 2017, Ukraine exported 73.23 thousand tons of sunflower seeds for the amount of USD 29.73 million.
