Nika-Tera proceeded 7 vessels at 7 berths simultaneously

Sea Specialized Port Nika-Tera carried out unloading and loading of 7 vessels at all 7 berths of the port at the same time.

Within three days, the seaport Nika-Tera accepted and proceeded 7 dry-cargo vessels, among them Panamax, Handymax and Handysize. All the proceeded vessels were brought to the port and moored to the berths for further cargo operations after the announcement of the ice campaign.

According to the nomenclature, loading/unloading was carried out for all types of cargoes with which the terminal operates, including grain crops (corn) and soy.

"For the first time in the history of Nika-Tera we managed to simultaneously use all 7 berths of the port for loading and unloading operations. It has proven that the optimization of the operation of all structural divisions of the enterprise allows us to efficiently use all berths and loading capacities of the port for the efficient and qualitative process of cargo transshipment," commented Igor Gridnev, Deputy Head of the Port.

Reference: in 2017 Nika-Tera proceeded 229 vessels, having transshipped 4.17 mln tons of cargo, which is 4% more than in 2016.
