Cygnet invests USD 700 thou. in sugar mill modernization

In the current year, Cygnet Agrocompany plans to invest about USD 0.7 million in the reconstruction and modernization of the sugar mill.

It is noted that every year the company is increasing the capacity of sugar beet processing.

The reconstruction works will be aimed at:

• increase of the sugar mill productivity to 2.750 tons/day;
• reduction of gas consumption to 28 m³ per 1 ton of processed sugar beet;
• reduction of limestone, coal, and production materials expenditures;
• improving the quality of finished products.

Capital works and current repairs are planned to start in the first half of April.

Note: Ukrainian sugar market in 2017 was dominated by 10 companies.
