Potato exports in Jan-Mar reached 6k tons

In the period from January to March 2018, Ukraine exported 5.92 thou. tons of potatoes for the amount of USD 1,034 thou.

The State Fiscal Service of Ukraine (SFS) reports that the major importers of Ukrainian potato in the indicated period are Moldova (USD 932 thou.), Georgia (USD 51 thou.) and Belarus (USD 48 thou.). Exports to these countries amounted to 5.32 thou. tons, 291.17 tons and 274 tons, respectively.

Earlier it was reported that 2 producers of potatoes — Vegetable Group and Adelaida — plan to build factories for the production of French fries.
