Astarta-Kyiv agricultural segment revenue in Q1 2018 stood at 28 percent

Astarta-Kyiv's agricultural segment revenue amounted to EUR 26 million (47percent less y-o-y) and contributed 28 percent to the consolidated revenues.

Decreased sales volumes (44 percent less y-o-y) resulted from lower inventories following weaker harvest in 2017 and high comparison base in the first quarter of 2017 because of logistics delays in the last quarter of 2016.

The company informs that exports have been traditionally strong with an almost 83 percent share in volume terms.

Previously it was reported that in Q1 2018 the company received 69 percent lower EBITDA — EUR 13 million.
