Ukraine boosted flour exports by 85k tons

Ukraine from the beginning of MY2017/18, as of May 10, 2018, exported 389.2 thou. tons of flour, which is 85.3 thou. tons more than the indicator for the corresponding period of the previous marketing season.

The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine informs that export of wheat flour reached 387.7 thou. tons, which is 85.1 thou. tons more than over the same period of MY2016/17. Export of flour of other types for the reporting period amounted to 1.5 thou. tons.

Reference: production of wheat and/or wheat-rye flour in January-March 2018 made up 447 thou. tons, which is 3.7% lower than for the same period in 2017.
