Milk exports in Jan-Apr totaled 5.4k tons

In January-April 2018, milk exports from Ukraine totaled 5.42 thou. tons for the amount of USD 3.85 million, the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine informs.

The major importers of Ukrainian milk and not concentrated cream in the reported period are as follows:

• Moldova — 1.36 thou. tons (USD 961 thou.);
• Libya — 1.31 thou. tons (USD 929 thou.);
• Georgia —0.94 thou. tons (USD 664 thou.).

Reference: procurement prices for milk continue declining under the pressure of seasonal production growth. By the end of April, the average price for milk was 9.12 UAH/kg (including VAT). Processors bought the highest quality milk for an average of 9,01 UAH/kg (-12 kop.), and the first class milk — for 8,40 UAH/kg (-44 kop.).
