Global grain production forecast in 2018/19 down 12 MT — IGC

The forecast for global grain production in MY2018/19 is reduced 12 million tons to 2.077 billion tons, International Grains Council (IGC) reports.
IGC experts in June report reduced the forecast for global production of grains in MY2018/19 to the lowest level for the last 3 seasons.
The forecast for final grain stock has also been reduced to 544 million tons, which is 11.6 million tons less than the previous expert forecasts (555.7 million tons).
Reference: International Grains Council (IGC) forecasts the increase of grain production in Ukraine in MY2018/19 by 2.2 million tons to 63.5 million tons.
