GrainCorp opens grain trading office in Ukraine

GrainCorp has opened a trading office in Kyiv, Ukraine, consistent with the business’ strategy of diversifying its grain and oilseeds origination footprint.

GrainCorp European Trading Director Carsten Højland notes that Ukraine is at the centre of a globally important grain production region. 

"Ukraine has large and growing production, high quality, and improving yields as technology and processes evolve. It is important that GrainCorp becomes a participant in this region and we are very excited to make this positive step. We have an excellent, locally based team with strong established relationships with local grain growers and we are looking forward to providing another competitive option to Ukraine farmers," he stresses.
