Since the start of 2018/19 Ukraine exported 2.89 mln tons of grain

Since the start of MY2018/19, as of August 8, 2018, Ukraine exported 2.89 million tons of grain, which is 450 thou. tons less y-o-y.
The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine informs that the export of crops from Ukraine reached the following indicators:
- wheat — 1.29 million tons (+147 thou. tons);
- barley — 0.79 million tons (–458 thou. tons);
- corn — 0.79 million tons (–143 thou. tons);
- rye — 6 thou. tons (+6 thou. tons).
Previously it was reported that according to the draft "Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine and participants of the grain market for MY2018-2019 (effective since 01.07.2018)", Ukraine might export only 8 million tons of milling wheat of I-V classes.
