6.8 mln tons of wheat traded abroad in Jan-Jul 2018

In January-July 2018, wheat exports from Ukraine reached 6.8 million tons. The total value of shipments is USD 1.21 billion.

The State Fiscal Service of Ukraine (SFSU) reports that the major importers of the Ukrainian wheat in the indicated period are Egypt (USD 149.03 million), Morocco (USD 129.58) and Indonesia (USD 113.46 million).

Shipments to these countries stood at 836.9 thou. tons, 727.36 thou. tons and 636.86 thou. tons, respectively.

Reference: in the period from August 18 to 24, 2018, Ukraine exported 155 thou. tons of main grain crops, which is 76% less the previous week's figure (652 thou.tons, taking into account the actualization of the data).
