Rapeseed exports in Jan-Aug exceed 1 mln tons

In January-August 2018, Ukraine exported 1.11 mln tons of rapeseed for the amount of USD 453.13 mln.
According to data of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine (SFSU), the key importers of the Ukrainian rapeseed are as follows:
- Germany — USD 132.45 mln (325.69 thou. tons);
- Belgium — USD 130.36 mln (320.56 thou. tons);
- Portugal — USD 41.61 mln (102.29 thou. tons).
In the year 2018, the bulk yield of oilseeds is expected at the level of 21.7 mln tons. The forecast for sunflower production in 2018 amounts to 15 million tons, soybean — 4 million tons, and rapeseed — 2.7 million tons.
