UkrLandFarming increased winter rapeseed planting areas by 60%

The UkrLandFarming agroholding has increased the winter rapeseed planting areas by 60% in connection with the high marginality of production, UNIAN reports.

According to Victor Spassky, Deputy Director General for Agricultural Production, rapeseed sowing is carried out with no delays.

"This year we increased the areas under winter rapeseed by 60%. Rapeseed margins were quite attractive in 2018 and we expect the effectiveness of producing this crop next year," he said.

Previously it was reported that UkrLandFarming was expecting a 15% increase in corn yield in 2018.
