ADM Trading Ukraine leads among rapeseed exporters in 2017/18

By the results of MY2017/18, ADM Trading Ukraine remained the major exporter of Ukrainian rapeseed. This is informed by Julia Ivanitskaya, the oil markets analyst at APK-Inform, AgroTimes reports.

"Last season, ADM Trading Ukraine retained its leadership, which increased exports by 55%," she said.

The company Glencore Grain Ukraine significantly increased the volume of shipments, which was able to improve its position from the 15th place to the second.

The following participants of the rating are Cargill, NIBULON and MHP. According to the results of the season, they significantly increased the volume of trade (2-2.5 times).

Julia Ivanitskaya added that the total share of the TOP-5 was almost half of the total export of rapeseed from Ukraine in MY2017/18.

In August of MY2018/19, the production of rapeseed oil stood at 63.8 thou. tons, which is 45.3% more compared to the previous month and twice as high as the produced volume in August of MY2017/18.
