Nika-Tera handled 4 mln tons of cargo

As of October 15, 2018, cargo turnover by the Sea Specialized Port Nika-Tera exceeded 4 million tons.

In 2017, the total cargo turnover of the port amounted to 4.17 million tons.

In the first half of October, another tanker was loaded with sunflower oil in the volume of more than 31 thou. tons. Also, a Panamax type vessel was loaded with 50 thou. tons of barley to a draught of 10.3 m. Loading of the latter was carried out from storage tanks and using the direct-variant method.

Since the start of 2018, the volume of cargo turnover at the specialized port of Nika-Tera amounted to 3.7 million tons, which is 10% more than last year’s performance indicator over the relevant period.
