Nika-Tera cargo transshipment exceeds 5 mln tons

As of 25 November 2018, the Sea Specialized Port Nika-Tera (a structural division of Group DF) provided for the transshipment of 5 mln tons of cargoes in less than eleven months.

The company informs that the port handled 5 mln tons of cargoes which exceeds the results of 2017 by 20%.

Last weekend, the loading of the largest capacity vessel of the Panamax type in the port's history ULTRA PUMA was completed at the Nika-Tera berths for the Louis Dreyfus company.

In the water area of the sea terminal, the loading of corn to bulk carrier amounted to a maximum of 51.55 thou. tons. The total load of the vessel at berths and on the roadstead will be over 73 thou. tons. tons per day.

The Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (USPA) reported on 31.7 million tons of grain cargo and perishables in the period from January to October 2018.
