MHP chicken meat production in Q3 2018 up 10%

The agro-industrial holding Myronivsky Hliboproduct (MHP) increased poultry production in Q3 2018 to 150,650 tons, up 10% (Q3 2017: 137,005 tons).

In 9M 2018, poultry production volume reached 458,540 tons, up 8% (9M 2017: 424,700 tons).

Chicken meat exports totalled 80,361 tons, increased by 52% compared to Q3 2017 — 52,990 tons. Whereas in 9M 2018 chicken meat exports increased by 22% to 213,925 tons (9M 2017: 176,015 tons) as a result of increased exports mainly to countries in MENA and the EU.

Previously the company informed about a meeting held by the MHP and Slovenian company Perutnina Ptuj management to present plans for further development within the existing business model.
