SFGCU in November exceeded flour shipments plan

The State Food and Grain Corporation of Ukraine (SFGCU) in November of MY 2018/19 contracted 7.12 thou. t of flour and 4.35 thou. t of bran.

In November, SFGCU fulfilled the plan for the export of wheat flour by 125%.

“The growth in demand in foreign markets is a result of consistently high quality indicators. One of the main tasks for the state corporation is a further expanding of export geography of products with high added value,” the message states.

The key importers of flour are Palestine, Moldova, Israel, South Korea, and the PRC, which significantly increased the demand for Ukrainian flour. Madagascar imported the Ukrainian flour for the first time. SFGCU bran supplies were made mainly to Turkey.

In July-October 2018, SFGCU increased sales of flour and bran in the domestic market by 1.5 times.
