Ukraine exported a record volume of sunflower meal to China

In November of the current year, Ukraine delivered to China a record volume of sunflower meal — 175 thou. tons, APK-Inform reports.

In September-November 2018/19, over 240 thou. tons of Ukrainian sunflower meal were exported to China vs 152 thou. tons for the entire previous season.

In December and the first months of 2019, a decline in export deliveries is expected due to China’s decline in demand prices for oilseed meal.

In MY2017/18, Ukraine produced 5.2 million tons of sunflower meal and cake, of which 4.2 million tons were exported.
