Flour deliveries from Ukraine in 2018/19 reduced to 123 thou. t

As of January 2, 2018, Ukraine exported 122.8 thou. tons of flour, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine reports.

This volume is 93.6 thou. tons lower than it was exported in last year's comparative period.

Since the start of MY2018/19, wheat flour shipments amount to 122.1 thou. tons, whereas other types of flour — 0.7 thou. tons.

In MY2017/18, flour exports reached 413 thou. tons.

The volumes of exported grain crops by the reporting date are as follows:

  • wheat — 10.46 million tons, (0.79 mln tons less y-o-y);
  • corn — 9.11 million tons (3.54 mln tons more y-o-y);
  • barley — 3.14 million tons (0.66 mln tons less y-o-y);
  • rye — 80 thou. tons.

In 2018, the Ukrainian agriproducers reported a 70.1 mln t harvest of grain and leguminous crops which is 13% higher than the previous year's indicator of 62 mln t.
