Grain export 2018/19: approaching 26 mln t

Since the start of MY2018/19, as of January 16, Ukraine exported 25.7 mln tons of grain, which is 3.58 mln tons more than the indicator for the last year's comparative period.

According to the data of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, the volumes of exported crops are as follows:

• wheat — 11.1 million tons (0.53 mln tons less y-o-y);
• corn — 10.8 million tons (4.16 mln tons more y-o-y);
• barley — 3.26 million tons (0.55 mln tons less y-o-y);
• rye — 81 thou. tons (67.8 thou. tons more y-o-y).

In 2018, the Ukrainian agriproducers reported a 70.1 mln t harvest of grain and leguminous crops which is 13% higher than the previous year's indicator of 62 mln t.
