SALIC acquired United Farmers Holding Group (UFHG)

The Saudi Agricultural and Livestock Investment Company (SALIC) has acquired both AlMarai and SGAF’s stakes in United Farmers Holding Company (UFHC), representing 66% of the paid-up share capital which is a Saudi Company that manages 44 thou. hectares of crop production in west Ukraine and which produces: wheat, corn, barely as well as forage and other commodities.

SALIC's acquisition of the wholly-owned United Farmers Holding Company (UFHC) goes with SALIC’s strategy of investing in specialized agricultural companies in line with its mission as part of the Kingdom's food security strategy.

Continental Farmers Group, which previously acquired Mriya Agroholding, is part of the United Farmers Holding Company (UFHC).

In late November 2019, SALIC stated it was considering a 25% investment in food production in Ukraine.
