Kernel increased grain exports in H1 FY2019 by 195%

In H1 FY2019, Kernel increased grain shipments by 194.9% to 5.86 million tons as compared with the corresponding period of FY2018.

Grain exports in Q2 FY2019 also increased by 142% to 2.86 million tons.

In six months FY2019, the company's grain supplies improved 66.4% to 3.13 million tons compared to the same period last FY. At the same time, in the second quarter of FY2019, the company increased grain exports by 53.5% to 1.75 million tons.

"The company exported a highest ever 1.7 million tons of grain from Ukraine in a single quarter, benefiting from a record grain harvest in Ukraine, expanded infrastructure capabilities and reach," the report says.

In Q2 FY2019, Kernel was not exporting grain from Russia.
