Ukraine's Jan 19-25 sea port grain exports down 29% wk/wk

In the week of Jan. 19-25, the sea ports of Ukraine shipped 687 thou. tons of main grain crops which is 29% less wk/wk, APK-Inform reports.

Wheat shipments remained at the level of the previous week and amounted to 189 thou. tons. Corn exports decreased by 29% to 498 thou. tons. Barley was not shipped during the reporting period.

Last week, Israel (111 thou. tons), Spain (79 thou. tons) and Portugal (64 thou. tons) were the TOP-3 export directions of main grains.

Earlier it was reported that on January 25th, a coordination meeting was held at the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine to discuss key proposals for forming the second edition of the wheat standard.
