Large agricultural holding listed in the top-5 VAT refund recipients

The Kernel-Trade company, a subsidiary of Kernel, is listed in the top-5 VAT refund recipients in 2018.

The major recipients of the VAT refund are as follows:

1. Ilyich Iron and Steel Works (Metinvest Holding) — UAH 8 bln;
2. Kernel-Trade — UAH 6.7 bln;
3. Azovstal (Metinvest Holding) — UAH 6.1 bln;
4. ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih (ArcelorMittal) — UAH 5.9 bln;
5. Zaporizhstal — UAH 5.7 bln.

The total amount of VAT reimbursed from the budget in 2018 stood at UAH 131.7 billion.
