Saudi Arabia to buy 600 thou. tons of wheat

Saudi Grains Organisation (SAGO) has announced a tender for the import of 595 thou. tons of hard milling wheat (durum), the APK-Inform consultancy reports.
The message says that Saudi Arabia plans to purchase 10 consignments of hard milling wheat with a protein content of 12.5 pct with a further delivery from April to June 2019.
The tender procedure was closed on March 1st.
In July-January 2018/19, Saudi Arabia was one of the key importers of Ukrainian bran.
