The average earnest in agriculture up 23 pct

In January 2019, the average salary in agriculture amounted to UAH 7 360, 23.1 pct more than in the corresponding period of 2018 (UAH 5 978).
The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine reports that in January 2019 the average wage in the production of food, beverages and tobacco products amounted to UAH 8 756 thou. In January 2018, this figure was UAH 7 282. Thus, the growth of wages in the food processing industry was almost 20.2%.
The average wage in agriculture in 2018 amounted to UAH 7 166 thou.
