Cygnet considers a USD 2 mln investment in machinery

Cygnet Agrocompany is set to invest more than USD 2 million in machinery fleet update in the current year, the APK-Inform consultancy report.

In early 2019, the Cygnet engineering service carried out major repairs of the existing machinery, as well as the purchase of new ones.

According to the message, in 2019, the company acquired three Case-340 tractors, two Case ET-875 deep rippers, two Case TM-255 cultivators, and JCB 527 and 541 telescopic handlers. In addition, four 16-cubic tanks VNC-16 and two sets of ring rollers KZK-12,5 of Ukrainian production were purchased.

“In addition to equipment, we purchased section disconnection and height control systems for a boom of self-propelled sprayers, hydraulic systems, autopilot for Case-340 tractors and liquid fertilizer application systems for tilled seeders. Thus, the company purchased machinery and equipment that will be used in the spring complex of works,” said Nikolai Trembovetsky, Chief Engineer of Cygnet.

In 2018, Cygnet Agrocompany increased the expenditures for farmland rent by 49 pct to UAH 98.9 million.
