AGCO presented Massey Ferguson compact tractors
AGCO Corporation presented Massey Ferguson 2635 and 2630 compact tractors at the international exhibition AGRO-2019 in Kyiv. This was informed by Yuriy Voytsekhovych, Massey Ferguson Business Development Manager in Ukraine.
MF 2635 and MF 2630 tractors are equipped with Simpson 74 hp and 65 hp engines, respectively.
“This is a solid and easy-to-maintain engine. It has a high-pressure fuel pump, 2 fuel and 1 air filters. Engine capacity is 3.6 l, but at the same time, it is capable of producing a torque of 295 N.m. Considering the Ukrainian realities, we decided to install a mechanical injection system that will protect the engine and ensure a long life,” commented Juri Voitsehovych.
The MF 2635 tractor has a manual transmission, 12 forward and 4 reverse gears. The maximum speed is 33.6 km/h.
The load capacity of MF 2635 is 2145 kg. Its weight is 3.41 t, wheelbase — 2245 mm, ground clearance — 320 mm, and fuel tank — 85 l.
“We want to provide agriproducers with an alternative to existing tractors on the market and offer a more comfortable model. First of all, we focus on customers who are just starting their agribusiness and do not need high-capacity equipment. If it is a small farm, then usually the farmer operates the tractor himself. And the comfortable working conditions directly affect the health of the operator,” explained the AGCO representative.
A specific tire tread pattern provides increased adhesion to the road. Additional six ballasts 23 kg each and one 41 kg are installed on the wheels.
As previously reported, AGCO Corp. presented the first in Eastern Europe Massey Ferguson 9300 sprayer.
