Ukrainian flour supplies reduced 1.5x

The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine reports that Ukraine exported 277 thou. tons of flour by June 10th, 2019.

This volume is 1.5x less than it was exported in last year's comparative period (411.1 thou. tons).

Since the start of 2018/19, wheat flour shipments amount to 275.7 thou. tons (409.5 thou. tons in prior year's comparative period), whereas other types of flour — 1.3 thou. tons (1.6 thou. tons in the relevant period of 2017/18).

In 2017/18, flour exports reached 413 thou. tons.

Earlier it was reported that the order was issued to amend the date of entry into force of the new standard for wheat DSTU 3768:2019 “Wheat. Technical conditions”, replacing the effective DSTU 3768:2010. Under the new order, the new standard for wheat took effect on June 10th 2019, before the start of the 2019/20 season.
