Grain trucks weight control intensified in Mykolaiv region

In Mykolaiv region, as grain harvest season has started, grain trucks weight control on the roads has consequently been strengthened, Traktorist.ua reports with reference to the State Service of Ukraine for Transport Safety (Ukrtransbezpeka).

By the report, weight and documentary control is carried out by the patrol police in Mykolaiv region together with the Department of Ukrtransbezpeka in Mykolaiv region.

"Inspectors of both services pay special attention to the observance of the thermal regime by drivers of heavy vehicles on public roads," the report says.

As informed by Ukrtransbezpeka, based on the results of the state supervision measures carried out on June 20, 2019, 3 cases of cargo transportation exceeding the permissible weight limits were discovered and 2 acts were drawn up on the absence of the necessary permits for cargo transportation provided for by Art. 48 of the Law On Automobile Transport.

As reported earlier, on June 18th residents of the village Usatovo in Odesa region blocked the bypass road with a protest action against the traffic of large-size vehicles.
