Grain stocks in Ukraine 5 pct lower

As of June 1st, 2019, stocks of grain and leguminous crops in Ukraine are 5.42 percent lower than on the corresponding date last year, UkrAgroConsult analysts report with reference to the State Statistics Service.
Grain reserves volumes reduced as follows:
- wheat — 11.7 percent;
- barley — 3.99 percent.
Corn stocks increased 2.69 percent from the corresponding period of 2018.
Earlier it was reported that in the period of June 15-21 grain shipment from the Ukrainian seaports reached 759 thou. tons, 28 percent up from the previous week (592 thou. tons).
