Harvest Online 2019: campaign complete on 6.9 million hectares

By July 23rd, harvesting of early grain and leguminous crops in Ukraine was carried out on the area of 6.9 million hectares or 71%. The crop reached 25 million tons.

According to the Harvest Online 2019 project, the new crop volumes are as follows:

  • winter wheat — 18.1 million tons on 4.7 million hectares or 72% yielding 3.82 t/ha;
  • barley — 6.3 million tons on 1.9 million hectares or 76% yielding 3.26 t/ha;
  • peas — 553 thou. tons on 243 thou. hectares or 86% yielding 2.27 t/ha;
  • rye — 58 thou. tons on 23 thou. hectares or 20% yielding 2.58 t/ha;
  • oats — 32 thou. tons on 9 thou. hectares or 7% yielding 2.39 t/ha;
  • winter rapeseed — 2.7 million tons on 1.1 million hectares or 87% yielding of 2.43 t/ha.
