Grain transshipment in Pivdenny port intensified 2.5x

In eight months of the current year, Pivdenny port operators transshipped 7.2 mln t of grain, 61.5% more from in the respective period of the previous year, CTS reports.
The volume of cargo transshipment in the port of Pivdenny reached 5.4 mln t in August, 55% more from August 2018.
"This is an absolute record of monthly transshipment among all Ukrainian seaports. This indicator exceeded the previous record set in July of the current year by 625 thou. t or by 13.2%," said Vitalii Lipskyi, Head of the Pivdennyi Port Administration.
Since the start of the current marketing year (July 1st, 2019), Ukraine exported more than 10 mln t of staple grains.
