Ukrainian grain exports crossed 10 mln t

Since the start of the current marketing year (July 1st, 2019) Ukraine exported more than 10 mln t of grain crops.

The State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection (SSUFSCP) reports that 6.1 mln t of wheat were exported (including ~4.3 mln t of food wheat and more than 1.8 mln t of fodder wheat), ~2.2 mln t of barley and 1.7 mln t of corn.

In the prior year's comparative period, 6 mln t of grains were exported, including 3.7 mln t of wheat (including 2.1 mln t of food wheat and 1.5 mln tons of fodder wheat), 1.6 mln t of barley and 1.3 mln t of corn.

In the current marketing year, 1.8 million tons of oilseeds were delivered to foreign markets vs. 1.2 million tons in the relevant period of the previous marketing year.

Earlier it was reported that there was a potential for growth of rapeseed production and export by 10% up to 160 thou. t, production of rapeseed meal — by 10% up to 200 thou. t, shipment — by 16% up to 190 thou. t.
