Sowing Online 2019/20: campaign progress 15 pct above last year's

As of September 18, Ukrainian agrarians sowed winter grains on 1.3 mln ha or 17% of the forecasted 7.3 mln ha (2018: 1.1 mln ha).

By the data of the Sowing Online 2019/20 Project, the sown areas by the winter crops are as follows:

• wheat — 1.2 mln ha or 19% of the total of 6.2 mln ha;
• rye — 41 thou. ha or 34% of 122 thou. ha;
• barley — 46 thou. ha or 5% of 920 thou. ha;
• rapeseed — 945 thou. ha or 88%.
