Olvia port handled largest in 2019 bulk carrier

The port of Olvia in Mykolaiv region handled the largest vessel entering the port since the start of 2019, CTS informs.

"Olvia Stevedoring Company will load the bulk carrier with 26 thou. t of rapeseed intended for export," the report reads.

On October 7th, the bulk carrier Key Knight 229 m long, 32 m wide, with a maximum draught of 14.4 m and deadweight of 82,000 tons was moored at berth No. 6. The vessel arrived at the port of Olvia from the port of Pivdenny (former Yuzhny).

In the week of September 28 – October 4, staple grains shipment in Ukrainian seaports totalled 512 thou. t, 45% lower from the previous week (927 thou. t).
