Another livestock sales market open for Ukraine

Ukrainian livestock exporters are now authorized for deliveries to Libya, the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection (SSUFSCP) reports.

"The responsible authorities of Ukraine and Libya have agreed on the form of an international veterinary certificate for the export of cattle for slaughter from Ukraine to Libya," the statement reads.

Previously reported that in 9M 2019 Ukraine exported 22.3 thou. t of live cattle worth USD 38.8 mln. This indicator exceeds the result for the whole 2018 by 1.8% (21.9 thou. t).
