Turkey dominates Ukrainian sunflower exports in 9M 2019

In January-September 2019, 79.52 thou. tons of sunflower seeds for the amount of USD 28.89 mln were exported from Ukraine.
Under the data of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine, the key importers in the reporting period are as followed:
- Turkey — USD 14.46 mln (50.03%);
- the Netherlands — USD 2.44 mln (8.43%);
- Romania — USD 1.27 mln (4.4%);
- others — USD 10.73 mln (37.14%).
Previously reported that in 2018 Ukrainian agricultural producers received the average profitability of sunflower and soybean production at a 5-year minimum level — 32.5% and 21%, respectively.
