Harvest Online 2019: corn cropping 77 pct complete

As of October 31st, harvesting of grain and leguminous crops in Ukraine was conducted on the area of 14.1 mln ha or 92% of the total. The crop reached 66.2 mln t using the average yield of 4.71 t/ha (2018: 4.33 t/ha).

By the Harvest Online 2019 project, the new crop volumes are as followed:

• buckwheat — 87 thou. t on 66 thou. ha or 97%, 1.32 t/ha;
• millet — 155 thou. t on 83 thou. ha or 93%, 1.86 t/ha;
• corn — 26.2 mln t on 3.8 mln ha or 77%, 6.81 t/ha;
• soybean — 3.6 mln t on 1.5 mln ha or 97%, 2.32 t/ha;
• sunflower — 13.9 mln t on 5.7 mln ha or 97%, 2.45 t/ha;
• sugar beet — 7.7 mln t on 176 thou. ha or 80%, 43.7 t/ha.
