Sugar beet processing in Ukraine crossed 7.7 mln t

As of November 19th, plants in Ukraine produced 1.148 mln t of sugar, the National Association of Sugar Producers of Ukraine (Ukrsugar) informs.
7.71 mln t of sugar beet were processed by the reporting date. 31 plants have started beet sugar production season.
As estimated by the analytical department of Ukrsugar, sugar export in 2019/2020 should reach 300 thou. t.
In January–October 2019, sugar exports from Ukraine reached 226.73 thou. t for the amount of USD 81.4 mln.
