Harvest Online 2019: Ukraine finalizing bumper harvest campaign

As of November 27th, harvesting of grain and leguminous crops in Ukraine was conducted on the area of 15 mln ha or 98% of the total. The crop reached 74.3 mln t using the average yield of 4.93 t/ha (2018: 4.7 t/ha).

Under the data of the Harvest Online 2019 project, the new crop volumes are as followed:

  • buckwheat — 89 thou. t on 67 thou. ha or 99%, 1.33 t/ha (2018: 1.26 t/ha);
  • millet — 160 thou. t on 89 thou. ha or 99%, 1.8 t/ha (2018: 1.54 t/ha);
  • corn — 34.2 mln t on 4.8 mln ha or 97%, 7.1 t/ha (2018: 7.63 t/ha);
  • soybean — 3.7 mln t on 1.57 mln ha or 99%, 2.35 t/ha (2018: 2.57 t/ha);
  • sunflower — 14.6 mln t on 5.85 mln ha or 99%, 2.51 t/ha (2018: 2.28 t/ha);
  • sugar beet — 9.7 mln t on 218 thou. ha or 98%, 44.5 t/ha (2018: 49.4 t/ha).
